Sunday was a far cry from the outcome the 49ers anticipated, however, there were several takeaways to glean from – one being the performance of many of San Francisco’s depth pieces. Jeff Deeney of Pro Football Focus highlighted the top five performers from the Week 10 matchup, including many who had a season-best outing against the Saints. Here’s who stood out:

Cheap Jimmie Ward Jersey – 83.9 Overall Grade

San Francisco’s free safety earned his highest grade of the season against the Saints. Ward notched two pass breakups, including one on 3rd-and-4 against Jared Cook that forced a New Orleans punt. He and fellow safety Cheap Tarvarius Moore Jersey forced a fumble on Saints quarterback Taysom Hill on a quarterback designed run. Additionally, Ward did not allow a single catch in coverage on Sunday.

Cheap Jordan Reed Jersey – 80.6 Overall Grade

Reed hauled in five of his six targets on Sunday for a season-high 62 yards, his largest output since Week 11 of the 2018 season with the Washington Football Team (75). His most impressive catch came on a one-handed grab on a third-and-long play where the tight end scooped up the pass with the nose of the ball just inches from the turf. Reed has earned an 85.4 overall grade on the season, ranking third among tight ends who have played at least 100 snaps so far this season.

Cheap Brandon Aiyuk Jersey – 78.6 Overall Grade

The 49ers rookie receiver led the team with seven receptions on a career-high 14 targets for 75 yards and a touchdown against the Saints. Over the last three contests, Aiyuk has amassed 21 catches for 281 yards and two touchdowns. Fourteen of his 21 catches have resulted in either a first down or touchdown. Aiyuk’s 79.0 overall grade on the season ranks third among qualifying offensive rookies.

Heading into “Monday Night Football,” Aiyuk is the fourth-highest graded wide receiver in Week 10 behind Jakobi Meyers (84.8), Cole Beasley (83.6) and Davante Adams (82.3).

Cheap Kentavius Street Jersey – 78.2 Overall Grade

Street played 41 of the 49ers defensive snaps and nearly earned the first sack of his career against Drew Brees on a play that was flagged for roughing the passer.

Cheap Jamar Taylor Jersey – 74.0 Overall Grade

San Francisco’s backup nickel corner allowed just two catches on four targets for a total of six yards on Sunday. He also registered two run stops and four solo tackles on the day. Taylor stepped in for the 49ers in place of injured starter K’Waun Williams, who is likely to miss time after dealing with a high-ankle sprain suffered in Week 9.

Good morning, 12s. Here’s a look at what’s happening today – Tuesday, Nov. 17 – for your Seattle Seahawks.

Damon Harrison Featured On 710 ESPN Seattle’s “Wyman and Bob”
Damon “Snacks” Harrison made his Seahawks debut in Sunday’s loss to the Rams. Harrison, a nine-year veteran defensive tackle, was named First-Team All-Pro in 2016 with the Giants. He also previously played for the Jets and Lions, racking up 485 total tackles and 37 tackles for loss in 117 career games before Sunday. In his first game as a Seahawk, Snacks played 19 snaps at defensive tackle.

“He held his own,” Pete Carroll said about Harrison’s debut in his Monday press conference. “First time, he was a little rusty, played behind some blocks and stuff like that. But he played big like he’s supposed to and filled up the middle pretty nice.”

Harrison was featured on 710 ESPN Seattle’s “Wyman and Bob” for their Seahawks Spotlight interview on Monday. In the interview, Harrison discussed how he got the nickname “Snacks,” how he navigated junior college to get to the NFL and how his wife is a superhero as the mother to their seven children, among other things.

You can listen to the full 17-minute interview here, but here are some of the highlights:

On how he felt in his first NFL game since last December:

“I felt good physically. It was amazing to get back out there in some live action and feel some live game action. You can’t really simulate that too much throughout the week. But physically I’m getting where I need to be. The more football I play, the better I’ll be. But it was an amazing feeling.”

On how he transitioned from basketball to football in high school:

“I was a basketball player my first three years in high school. I never really cared for football much. The coaches always tried to get me to come out. To go back a little bit further, I tried out (for football) in middle school and didn’t make the team twice, so that kind of took me away from the game of football and turned to basketball. I was pretty good at it, but I had a knee injury that forced me out (of basketball) a little bit and I gained some weight and finally decided to give football a shot. At that time the coaches told me they didn’t want me to play. I didn’t understand it at the time, but later on in the year after our last game they told me the only reason they did that was just to make sure that I wanted to play and that I wasn’t just out there because my friends were out there. It’s true, I was a hooper. I can still hoop, too.”

On how close he was to retiring after last season:

“I was real close. After talking with my wife, she was OK with it. I was OK with it. But I just, being a competitor, I didn’t want to go out on statistically the worst season of my career. Just after watching football for a while, I never lost that desire and that drive to want to go out there and play. So, I made the decision to get back out there. I had opportunities throughout the entire offseason, as I still do now. But I always knew I was going to end up here, it was just a matter of when I was going to make the decision and make the jump to get here.”

The Cheap Los Angeles Rams Jerseys announced Tuesday that they have signed kicker Matt Gay.

Gay, 26, was most recently with the Indianapolis Colts, signed to their practice squad on Sept. 15 before being released on Nov. 6. Prior to joining the Colts’ practice squad, he spent the 2019 season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, making 27 of 35 field goal attempts and 43 of 48 extra point attempts while playing in all 16 games. Gay was originally chosen in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Buccaneers.

In college, Gay made 56-of-65 field goals and 85-of-85 extra point attempts in two seasons at the University of Utah, winning the Lou Groza Award as the nation’s top collegiate placekicker in 2017 and finishing as a semifinalist in 2018. Before joining the Utes, he played two seasons of soccer at Utah Valley.

Gay will be eligible to report to the facility after six days in accordance with the NFL’s COVID-19 entry testing process for newly acquired players. That six-day clock begins on the day he arrives in Los Angeles.

The move comes after the Rams’ current starting kicker, Cheap Kai Forbath Jersey, sustained an ankle injury in Sunday’s win over the Seahawks. The Rams also have Austin MacGinnis, who was part of the competition during training camp, on their practice squad.

The Rams also announced they placed Forbath, offensive lineman Cheap Andrew Whitworth Jersey and safety Cheap Taylor Rapp Jersey on injured reserve.

Never will Cheap Kyler Murray Jersey tire of watching replays of his Hail Mary heave to Cheap DeAndre Hopkins Jersey to beat the Bills.

But in the aftermath of the most memorable play of his career and a thrilling victory, Murray celebrated the only way he knows how – he went home, jumped on his Twitch channel, and streamed out his Call of Duty video game session with teammates Cheap Chase Edmonds Jersey and Cheap Christian Kirk Jersey.

“That’s like a perfect day,” Murray said with a smile. “Winning a game and getting on the (video) game with your boys, it’s hard to beat that.”

The glory of Sunday was a microcosm of Murray’s so far sublime sophomore season, a year many predicted was coming for the Cardinals’ quarterback.

The spotlight has shined on his running ability, the one that was destined to separate Murray from other quarterback hopefuls. His 604 yards on the ground (in nine games) is already a franchise record for quarterbacks. He has five straight games with both a passing and rushing touchdown, which is an NFL record. His 10 rushing touchdowns this season makes a challenge to Cam Newton’s QB record of 14 (in 2011) likely.

Murray is on pace to become the first NFL player ever to have 4,000 yards passing and 1,000 yards rushing in a season.

“I’ve kind of visualized what he could be since he was 15 years old,” coach Kliff Kingsbury said. “It’s fun for me to sit back, not only as a guy who gets to work with him, but as a fan, and see how he has taken it and run with it.”

Boasting isn’t part of Murray’s game, although he’s not going to shy away from stating the facts as he knows them, either. He said he could’ve played better against the Bills, although “when the team is winning, obviously I feel like the quarterback is doing something well.” Statistically, he couldn’t have done much better the previous game against the Dolphins, but once the Cardinals lost, any achievement was all but worthless.

With the national TV wins over the Cowboys and Seahawks, the Hail Murray touchdown that dominated the Sunday night NFL coverage, and yet another national TV game Thursday night against the Seahawks – on top of his incredible play – Murray has also stepped into the MVP conversation.

“I haven’t done anything so as far as the MVP deal, I’m not worried about that,” Murray said. “As far my personal confidence, do I believe I’m one of the best in the league? Yeah, of course. I think anybody should be confident in themselves.”

The confidence carries over. NFL Films cameras caught Murray postgame talking with Bills offensive lineman and Murray college teammate Cody Ford, with Murray saying he knew the Cardinals would win – a stretch given their desperate straits just a few seconds before Hopkins’ mind-bending catch.

Maybe, though, that’s just who Murray is.

“When you see a guy like that scrambling around, making plays with his feet, running for first downs, taking hits, and doing things that are uncommon for a quarterback, Kyler motivates everyone on that football field,” Hopkins said. “He gives us a spark I’ve never been a part of and I’m just happy to be his teammate.”

It’s a natural byproduct, Murray said, of him playing hard for his team and to win. His competitiveness is well-chronicled, as is his talent. Bring those together, and you have a guy on pace for record statistics, a guy in the MVP talk, a guy who wheels away from a sure tackle and then flings, against his body, an excellent 50-yard throw that ends in a miracle touchdown.

“Those throws you make at the end, it looks like it’s lucky, but it’s way more than that,” Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said.

You do that, you’ve probably earned a little WarZone time with your friends.

“I don’t think I can draw it up much better,” Murray said.

Sure, Murray was talking about his game-winning TD pass/video game combination. He could say the same for the start of his NFL career.
